2026 Wedding Flower Trends

It's always fun to see what's catching people's eyes for flower trends. Here is what I predict will continue to be popular for wedding flower trends in 2026 in Toronto, Ontario.

Wedding Flower Colours for 2026

Couples are choosing mixed soft pastel palettes and fresh green and white for spring and summer, while moody burgundy are often seen in the fall. There’s also a trend where each bridesmaid holds a bouquet that is one type of flower found in the bride's bouquet in a monochrome palette.

These are three mood boards I’ve put together for a number of 2026 weddings.

Wedding Flower Styles for 2026

We’re seeing a lot of light and airy bouquets with minimal greenery as well as artfully styled structural bouquets and centerpieces with asymmetrical designs, draping amaranthus and focal flowers that move away from the traditional wedding flowers.

Wedding Flower Types for 2026

Anthurium, Amaranthus (mixed with hydrangea) are a dynamic duo boasting HUGE in the trend realm. Anthurium has a tropical and abstract vibe as it looks very different from most flowers with its glossy surface and long center. Amaranthus is the QUEEN of draped sophistication, gracing surfaces and cascading over counters.

Cala lily’s have made a huge comeback from being very popular in the 90’s to showing up in the artful structural pieces.

Cosmos are still showing up in the light airy bouquets because of their light and delicate nature as well as the ‘bounce’ they give when they flutter about.

Final thoughts

As with all trends the most important thing is that you select your flowers and decor based on what you like and enjoy! There is never any need to follow any trends, rather select what suits you best for your wedding day, what feels the most like your style and aesthetic and choose flowers that you love.
